DR. JUDE OHANELE

DR. JUDE OHANELE is a human rights based social entrepreneur with special interest in the elimination of violence and hunger in Africa and beyond. He had his education in the areas of medicine, human rights and microfinance. Jude advocates for the enactment and implementation of laws and policies that prohibit and eliminate all forms of violence in public and private spaces, and those
that support the elimination of hunger.

He is the founder and program director of Development Dynamics, a non-governmental organization
based in Nigeria, and he coordinates her Elimination of Violence and Elimination of Hunger programmes. Jude is a member of the steering committee of the Legislative Advocacy Coalition on Violence Against
Women (LACVAW) and the steering committee of the Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room. He is an Ashoka fellow, and a Rotarian. Jude is committed to being part of the solutions to contemporary human problems, and not part of the problems. He is an aspiring global citizen and is in support of the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals.
